Slide 2 of 34: Star Wars fans rejoice, for this is an experience located in a galaxy far, far away. Or, actually, just in Florida. This is more than just an overnight stay, though. For $6,000, a family of four can enjoy a two-night, all-immersive adventure in the hotel's themed cabin accommodation –&nbspcomplete with its own window into 'space' –&nbsplive performances at dinner, appearances from the franchise's favorite characters and even a special excursion to the planet of Batuu. Guests can explore the ship, learn how to use a lightsaber, and more. This&nbspamazing hotel&nbspis due to open in spring 2022.

Slide 3 of 34: Built in 1904, the hotel is bound to impress guests with its opulent interiors, which feature&nbspmarble, lavish crystal chandeliers and&nbspdecorative murals. The extravagant Presidential Suite, once a favorite of Salvador Dali, has large windows looking out onto both Central Park and Fifth Avenue and a butler is on hand to arrange a spin in the hotel’s Bentley Mulsanne. The suite measures 3,000&nbspsquare feet (270sqm) and has two luxury bedrooms.
Slide 4 of 34: An eye-watering $35,000 a night, the suite has been recently redesigned to mirror the style of a grand apartment. Notable features include wood-paneled library, luxury dressing room, spa-style bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom and balconies looking out to spectacular views of the city.
Slide 5 of 34: Located on the 50th floor of the Mandarin Oriental, the three-bedroom Suite 5000 doubles up as an art gallery with yearly art exhibitions of New York-inspired works as well as a collection of movies featuring the Big Apple. The suite spans 3,300 square feet (307sqm) and features two bedrooms. In addition to the sleek décor in shimmering silver and gray hues, there's an exceptional Swarovski crystal hanging wall installation in the dining room.
Slide 6 of 34: More Swarovski crystals illuminate the large custom soaking tub in the master bedroom and the bedroom-sized closet is more like a private showroom for Dior – here guests will find&nbsphand-selected closet&nbspessentials and accessories from the brand's most recent collection. Naturally, Dior's stylists, seamstresses and makeup artists are on call too. All this attention to detail comes with a price tag of $35,000&nbspa night.
Slide 7 of 34: It's no wonder that this luxury hotel is the only one in New York that’s a National Historic Landmark, having played host to many famous faces since its inception in 1907. The most decadent accommodation here is the Royal Suite, featuring crown molding and gold chandeliers in almost every room. Large enough to accommodate six people, the suite has three bedrooms and is accessed via a private elevator.
Slide 8 of 34: The suite has a formal entrance gallery, a stately living room with a grand piano, a dining table large enough for 12 and a separate library. Available in various configurations as a one-, two- or three-bedroom suite, its 4,500 square feet (418sqm) will cost guests around $40,000 a night.
Slide 9 of 34: Designed by Karl Lagerfeld, the two apartments at Hôtel de Crillon are often combined to create one large suite with three bedrooms reaching a size of 3,606 square feet (335sqm). The whole hotel has recently been renovated and the mix of antiques – including chandeliers from Lagerfeld's private collection – and historic moldings with custom furniture creates modern yet subtly luxurious surroundings that fit in perfectly within the French capital.
Slide 10 of 34: There's a private bar, underfloor heating and incredible views overlooking the Place de la Concorde. Some of the most impressive design elements include marble from a closed quarry in Italy and a carpet that incorporates hammered metal. All this luxury comes with a price tag of $41,750 per night.  Love this? Follow our Facebook page for more travel inspiration
Slide 11 of 34: A colorful slice of paradise, the 5-star Sandy Lane is one of Barbados' top luxury hotels and the Sandy Lane Suite, tucked away in the Turtle Wing, is the hotel's best. With four en suite bedrooms, direct beach access and a heated infinity pool on a private terrace, the suite is accessed via a private elevator&nbspand overlooks the Caribbean Sea. Although an exact price for this romantic suite is only available upon request, it's said to be around $43,000&nbspa night.
Slide 12 of 34: There's an open-air dining and lounge area, guests are greeted with Champagne and canapés on arrival and its quirky but welcoming design is easy on the eyes. Able to host up to 10 guests at a time, the suite is an impressive 7,360 square feet (683sqm) – enough room to make the most of the Caribbean sunshine and those superb Barbados West Coast sunsets.
Slide 13 of 34: Refurbished in 2019 after a catastrophic roof fire, the turreted Edwardian building in London's Knightsbridge is just as exquisite on the outside as it is on the inside. The hotel's interiors were given a new lease of life by designer Joyce Wang and that includes the exceptional Mandarin Oriental Penthouse too. Yours for $43,500&nbspa night, the penthouse features views of The Shard and London Eye as well as leafy Hyde Park.
Slide 14 of 34: With three en suite bedrooms, two salons (each with a dining space for eight) and enviable outdoor terrace space for each bedroom, it's truly amazing. The design features such beautiful touches like silk wall coverings, quirky object d'art and a book collection curated by Mayfair institution Heywood Hill.
Slide 15 of 34: A tribute to the man who &quotbuilt Monaco", the elegant suite is named after Prince Rainier III, sometimes probably better known as Grace Kelly's husband. With two bedrooms, a private pool and a separate dining and sitting area, the suite is 8,934&nbspsquare feet (830sqm) and is available from $46,680&nbspa night.
Slide 16 of 34: The suite features sculptures created by the Prince as well as paintings and original photographs from his personal collection. Outside, there's a two-level terrace offering breathtaking views of Place du Casino and a gorgeous panorama of the Mediterranean Sea as well as Monaco, France and Italy in the distance. A heated infinity pool completes the exquisite outdoor space.
Slide 17 of 34: The Maldives is all about over-water villas, but guests at the Conrad Maldives Rangali Island can take it a step further by booking The Muraka suite. This two-level, three-bedroom residence features a special underwater chamber that allows guests to snooze 16 feet (5m) below the waves on the Indian Ocean seabed, while being immersed in all the luxuries the exclusive island resort has on offer.
Slide 18 of 34: Guests can access the underwater chamber via a private elevator or a wood-clad spiral staircase. This is where the master suite lies, offering mesmerizing views of ocean life from a 180-degree curved acrylic dome. Above sea level, the $50,000-a-night suite has another bedroom and sun deck with pool and ladder that leads down into the rippling blue waters.  Discover more of the world's coolest underwater hotel rooms
Slide 19 of 34: All of Faena Hotel is pretty exceptional, from its custom murals by Juan Gatti to Damian Hirst's gilded woolly mammoth skeleton, but the Penthouse Suite takes things to new levels of outrageous luxury. Occupying 1,450 square feet (135sqm), the suite features five bedrooms with furnished balconies, dining rooms and spacious gathering areas across two levels and panoramic ocean and Miami Beach views stretch beyond the floor-to-ceiling windows.
Slide 20 of 34: The suite's (and the hotel's) elegant design comes courtesy of movie director Baz Luhrmann and his set designer wife Catherine Martin and features custom furnishings by Frank Pollaro with plenty of ivory and gold accents. Relaxing in such impressive surroundings don't come cheap though – although the price fluctuates quite a bit depending on season, a night here can set guests back as much as $50,000.
Slide 21 of 34: Hitting&nbspthe $50,000-a-night mark, the Ty Warner Penthouse in New York City's Four Seasons might not be the most expensive on this list, but it's hard to compete with its lavishness. An architectural and artistic masterpiece, the penthouse is located on the 52nd floor, making it the highest in New York, and even though it's more than&nbsp4,000 square feet (399sqm), it can host just three adults.
Slide 22 of 34: Unique features include a zen room, a ceiling-to-floor waterfall cascade, walls with mother of pearl inlay and a Chinese onyx-clad chromotherapy infinity soaking tub. There are also four glass balconies throughout the suite as well as oversized, single-pane windows framing the breathtaking views of the city. And once it's time for bed, guests doze off on a handmade mattress from Sweden, wrapped in Thai silk bedding with 22-carat pure-gold threads.
Slide 23 of 34: With a long and illustrious history, this Cannes hotel embodies luxury and elegance of a bygone era. A popular choice among movie&nbspstars during the city's namesake film festival, the hotel's Penthouse Suite is simply breathtaking. One of the largest in Europe, the 12,109-square-foot suite (1,125sqm) comes with a butler and a large panoramic terrace overlooking the Boulevard de la Croisette, the bay of Cannes and the hotel's private beach.
Slide 24 of 34: Designed by Pierre-Yves Rochon, the suite has four bedrooms, a separate dining room and a spacious work area. There's also access to a private garden and one of the marble bathrooms has a soaking tub. A one-night stay here is priced around $50,000.
Slide 25 of 34: Popular with diplomats, heads of state and visiting royalty due to its proximity to the United Nations, InterContinental Geneva features plenty of incredible rooms, but none are more impressive than The Residence. Located on the top floor, the lush suite is a combination of the Royal and Presidential Residences, creating an incredible two-bedroom suite that's bursting with stately elegance and features of opulent palaces of the past. Take a look at these stunning palaces you can stay in
Slide 26 of 34: Designed by famed architect Tony Chi, the suite offers great views over Geneva as well as its surrounding mountains and lakes. Tastefully styled with tailor-made furniture and fine art, The Residence features nearly two of everything – open-plan living spaces, dining rooms, powder rooms and hammams. There's also a private butler on hand during the $59,000-a-night stay to help with the guests' every need. These are the world's most incredible hotel bathrooms
Slide 27 of 34: The preferred choice of celebrities attending the Met Gala every year, The Mark is already exclusive as it is but its Grand Penthouse is utterly unattainable for most. One of the largest hotel suites in the world, it comes with five bedrooms, six bathrooms, a terrace overlooking Central Park and a price tag of $75,000 a night. Not a problem for one family, who rented the penthouse for 16 consecutive months, which would've resulted in a $36.5 million&nbspcheck.
Slide 28 of 34: The chic 15-room suite is often called the Castle in the Sky and features lavish interiors designed by French interior designer Jacques Grange. The penthouse boasts its own conservatory, library lounge and dining room as well as furniture unique to The Mark. It's also the location where the Duchess of Sussex famously held her baby shower in 2019.
Slide 29 of 34: Once the home of the world's most expensive hotel suites, you’re almost guaranteed to rub shoulders with the well-heeled at the Hotel&nbspPresident Wilson&nbspin Geneva. The Royal Penthouse Suite comes with Steinway grand piano, billiards table, private butler and views over Lake Geneva. With 12 bedrooms guests aren't short of space to host either – especially handy when you're the head of state or a foreign dignitary looking to welcome other VIPs.
Slide 30 of 34: The largest suite in Europe, it boasts 12 full bathrooms (two with Jacuzzi and hammam) each for its 12 bedrooms, two dining rooms, a private elevator and two secluded terraces. There's also lots of added security like panic button, bullet-proofed windows and security cameras. The hotel has to be contacted directly to book the suite and the rate starts from $81,000&nbspper night. Take a look at the world's most beautiful&nbsphotel lobbies
Slide 31 of 34: Unveiled in 2019, the Empathy Suite at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas will set you back a jaw-dropping $200,000&nbspfor a minimum two-night stay. A 9,000-square-foot (836sqm), two-level masterpiece by artist Damien Hirst, it's not your usual hotel room. The suite is decorated with sharks suspended in formaldehyde and in addition to a 24-hour butler service, guests staying at the suite also receive chauffeur service and $10,000&nbspcredit at the resort.
Slide 32 of 34: The suite has two master bedrooms, a salt relaxation room and a Jacuzzi overlooking the Strip. The suite also houses six original works by Hirst as well as custom furniture with his signature motifs, including a 13-seat curved bar filled with medical waste. Prospective guests have to apply to&nbspstay first in order to then be invited to book. The hotel is temporarily closed in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
