I wanted to kill myself.' NEW YORK DAILY NEWSUpdated: Saturday, December 19, 2015, 2:16 AM Seconds before a speeding Porsche slammed into the back of a parked school bus, a woman — likely in her last words — warned the boozed-up driver to slow down. The passenger’s plea was met with deadly silence in Queens, as the car’s roof was sheared off and its hood peeled back like a sardine can. The front passenger side of the black Porsche Cayman was caved in after the 3:30 a.m. wreck, leaving the woman with no chance of survival. The victim, who police say was in her 20s, died at the scene in Flushing on Friday. The wasted driver — identified as Kyung Song — emerged from the crash with minor injuries, cops said. Song told investigators he had downed six beers and three shots before leaving a bar with his girlfriend who he only identified as “Alice,” prosecutors said. Song told detectives that after he saw the woman’s condition he said, “I knew Alice was about to die. I wanted to kill myself.” He then told detectives that he tried to strangle himself with the string from his hooded sweatshirt. Song said he was driving the woman home, but, bizarrely, he said he wasn’t sure where she lived, cops said. The Island Park, L.I., resident had a blood-alcohol content of 0.176, more than twice the legal limit, authorities said. The driver admitted that his frightened passenger told him to slow down as he took a bend on Sanford Ave., Queens District Attorney Richard Brown said. Song told cops he was only going 33 mph, and his tires slipped, propelling the $64,000 Porsche into the bus. But the mangled remains of the high-end sports car told a different story. Prosecutors noted that there were no skid marks at the scene. The wreck happened near Murray St., just seven blocks from where the pair had been drinking. The posted speed limit is 25 mph on the tree-lined, two-lane street. Prosecutors said that the two were drinking at a bar near the intersection of 162nd St. and Sanford Ave., but did not specify which one. Staff at several drinking spots in the area said Friday night they did not know Song or his companion. Song, who was studying to be a pharmacist, faces up to 15 years in prison if convicted. He appeared in court Friday night wearing a light green hospital gown tucked into black sweatpants with his hair disheveled — and a thin red mark around his neck. Song was charged with vehicular manslaughter and was held on $750,000 bond or $500,000 cash bail. At his lawyer’s request, he was placed on suicide watch. He is due back in court Jan. 7. Song’s lawyer said he is a grad student at Long Island University, in the pharmacy program.   “I don’t know anything,” his mother told the Daily News hours after the crash. “My husband went to the 109th (Precinct stationhouse). I haven’t heard anything from him.” Lucrecia McKay, who lives on the block, said she was jolted awake by a loud bang. “I knew immediately it was an accident,” McKay, 56, told The News. “We came out right away and we saw the car underneath the bus.” McKay said she noticed the driver pacing near his car. “He had his head in his hands. He looked very disoriented,” she added. McKay said she and her son went back to bed after the police arrived. But when they went outside again a few hours later, they were greeted with a wrenching sight — the victim’s body being pulled out of the crumpled car. “It’s really a tragedy,” McKay said. “They had the rest of their lives in front of them.” Song’s Facebook page features a banner photo of a black Porsche Cayman. “Did u tint the window?” a friend posted. “Yes sir,” Song replied. “Hope you don’t get pulled over,” the friend responded.
