President Donald Trump, First Lady Melania and their son Barron (pictured) arrived back at the White House after spending just one night at Camp David


Trump has favored his palatial residences in Florida and New Jersey over the wooded hideaway used by many presidents before him. He told foreign newspapers earlier this year that Camp David was 'very rustic' and said: 'You know how long you'd like it? Trump gave a thumbs up to photographers as he arrived on the lawn in a navy blue suit and a white 'Make America Great Again' hat


Melania wore a white blouse and olive green $188 J Brand Maria jeans. She accessorized with a $3400 Celine luggage tote and $795 Manolo Blahnik Lauratopri shoes. rron (right) &nbspkept it casual with jeans, a red Ralph Lauren T-shirt and matching red sneakers


The 11-year-old Barron even appeared to snap a picture on his iPhone of Marine One and the Marine guarding it as they arrived back home


Nearly five months into his presidency, Trump flew to Camp David, the government-owned retreat in Maryland's Catoctin Mountains, for the first time


Trump waved to photographers as he departed the White House in a navy suit, while Melania donned a belted shirt dress





Presidents have been going to the refuge about 70 miles from the White House for seven decades. Roosevelt, who was the first to use the retreat in 1942, called it Shangri-La before&nbspDwight Eisenhower named it after his grandson


Melania flashed a smile and stepped out in a $1,795 dress by&nbspGabriela Hearst, which she paired with a dark brown belt and tan pointed ballet flats




Melania shared a photo of Camp David to Twitter late Saturday and wrote, 'Barron, @POTUS and I enjoying beautiful Camp David! #family #sport #weekend'


Ivanka Trump took to social media to wish her husband Jared a Happy Father's Day, but neglected to include her father until she shared a post (above) at 2:34pm acknowledging the two men together. 'Happy #FathersDay to these two incredible dads!' she wrote


The first daughter originally took to social media to wish her husband a Happy Father's Day at 7:15am on Sunday. She shared a photo (above) of herself smiling alongside Jared as they both hold their three young children, Arabella, Joseph and Theodore


First Lady Melania Trump also shared a message to her husband on social media later Sunday afternoon. She simply wrote, 'Happy Father's Day @Potus' with a heart emoji at the end, while sharing an image of the president with their youngest son, Barron, to Instagram (above)


Roughly an hour after she first sent warm wishes to Jared, Ivanka's older brother, Donald Trump Jr, took to Twitter at 8:22am recognizing their father by sharing two photos of them together and writing a message saying 'We love you' (above)
