Description:
Credit Analyst is an entry-level position within Bank of Hope Lending Centers. Credit Analysts are given an excellent opportunity to learn the Commercial Lending process (financial analysis, underwriting, policy & procedure) as mentored by senior Loan Officers.

Responsibilities & Duties:
• Monitor loan covenants and conditions per loan agreement and report any violation to senior loan officer or manager.
• Seek opportunities to grow relationship with customers.
• Provide assistance to loan officers with loan underwriting and collection of documents.
• Conduct site visits and on-site interviews under the supervision of senior loan officer.
• Underwrite loans under supervision of senior loan officer.
• Present loans to appropriate lending authority for approval.
• Obtain signatures on loan documents and complete loan closing in accordance with the Department’s procedures.
• Will be called upon from time to time to participate with community organizations and in community projects.

Education:
Minimum Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in finance-related fields

Language Requirement:
English: Written: Advanced Verbal: Fluent
Korean: Written: Intermediate Verbal: Conversational

Computer/Systems Knowledge Requirements:
Microsoft Outlook: Intermediate
Microsoft Word: Intermediate
Microsoft Excel: Intermediate
Microsoft Excel: Basic

Job Qualifications/Requirements:
• Required: Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Required: Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or customer complaints.
• Required: Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations.
