We are seeking a bright, creative, goal-oriented, high energy and hardworking individual to fill our HR / Payroll Administrator position.
Job Description
• Prepare bi-weekly payroll through the review of employee time cards, maintenance of employee payroll information, calculation of holiday, paid time off, overtime, and commissions. Work with third party payroll services provider to ensure complete, timely, and accurate processing.
• Payroll related benefits administration which includes transmission of 401k contributions, census reports, health insurance billing reconciliation, etc…
• Process incoming invoices for accounts payable
• Reconcile general ledger including bank statements
• Process accounting reports on monthly basis for management.
• Maintain organized files of all electronic and paper documents.
• Work alongside Controller on HR tasks and other tasks deemed necessary.
Requirements
• 2 years of Accounting and Human Resources/Payroll experience preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of state and federal wage and tax laws and overtime.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook
• Experience with payroll processing and report writing systems such as QuickBooks or ADP
• Basic knowledge of Accounting plus
