We are seeking individuals who have the following:
Restaurant Servers are responsible for positive guest interactions while serving guests in a friendly and efficient manner. Each server's primary objective is to show our guests such a marvelous time that they will want to return.
Responsibilities:
- Server job duties consist of taking food and drink orders, bringing food and drinks to guests, answer questions about menu items, making recommendations upon request and catering to patron request.
- Provide detailed information of menu items, suggest daily specials and repeat orders to ensure accuracy.
- Relay orders to the kitchen and ensure that all orders are delivered on time.
- Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure the accuracy and quantity of every order.
- Serves meals to patrons according to established rules of etiquette and refill glasses.
- Monitor and observe guests dining experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service.
- Check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.
- Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
- Be attentive, but not intrusive.
- Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment.
- Remove dishes and glasses from tables or counters, and take them to kitchen for cleaning.
- Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, process credit card charges or make change.
- Be ready and willing to assist fellow servers as situations arise.
- Be ready and willing to assist bus person with clearing and resetting tables.
- Making sure the paying customer has at least a satisfactory dining experience.
- Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return.
Job Requirements:
• Be knowledgeable of the menu, ingredients and how each item is prepared.
• Be polite, courteous, and prompt at all time.
• Knowing how to answer or fix a complaint.
• Work well with others.
Qualifications:
▪ Experience in restaurant services and procedures (min. 1 years exp.)
▪ Applicants must know how to communicate with guests and deliver outstanding customer service.
▪ Professional, punctual, motivated, hospitable and know the basic operations of the restaurant business.
▪ Have a strong work ethic with the desire to be the best in the business.
