JS Tax & Accounting Services LLC. is a full-service accounting and tax firm located in Fremont, Walnut Creek, and Foster City, CA. We are committed and dedicated to the financial needs of San Francisco and Bay Area small businesses. We are looking for an experienced or entry-level staff accountant to join our team. This is a full-time position which has the outstanding long-term potential for the right person.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Preparation and distribution of various daily, weekly, and monthly reports for business owners. Preparation of financial statements including but not limited to bank and other balance sheet account reconciliations. Preparation of tax returns/tax filings. Payroll for multiple and an array of clients. Assist to ensure compliance with company operational procedures. Assist with quarterly, year-end, tax and financial reviews. Assist /oversee accounts payable/accounts receivable function. Maintenance of General Ledger. The closing of General Ledger and associated subsidiary ledgers on a monthly basis, including all associated activities. We offer an array of accounting services within many different industries, so the amount of experience and growth available is endless.
THE RIGHT PERSON: A person who collaborates with others all while striving for timely and high-quality deliverables and takes initiative. Has an affinity for attention to detail and respect for confidentiality. They possess superior interpersonal and communication skills (Written/Verbal), be self-motivated, resourceful, and accurate. A quick learner and someone who can hit the ground running.
• General understanding of accounting principles (At least 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience is a plus, but not required)
• Experience with QuickBooks (Online and/or Desktop versions) or other accounting software is a plus, but not required
• Strong Excel skills
• Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
• English must be fluent (English/Korean bilingual preferred).
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: We provide following compensation & benefits to our valuable employees. The salary can be negotiated depending on experiences & qualification:
•Salary is between $48,000/year – $60,000/year
•Paid holidays: 11-12 days/year
•Paid personal time off: 10 days/year
•Paid sick days: 3 days/year
•Health (Kasier) & Dental (Delta) Insurances for Employees & Family Members
•401-K with 4% match starting from Oct, 2019
•End of year company shut-down
